What We Collect

• Account data — only if you sign up: your name, email address and a securely hashed password, or your Google account ID if you log in with Google. We also record whether your email address has been verified. This data is used to keep you signed in and to manage your account.
• Search queries — used to provide product results; not stored.
• Anonymous analytics — page views and feature usage (searches, barcode lookups) so we can understand how the site is used. No personal identifiers are attached.
• Essential session cookie — required for the site to function, including keeping you signed in.

What We Don't Collect

• No browsing or purchase history is tied to your account.
• No location tracking.
• No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• We never share or sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Storage

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes — we can't read them. Price data is collected from publicly available information on supermarket websites, and no individual user data is used for anything beyond running your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile data, and we don't keep copies.
